Hello friends. Today, we will make Gujarat special Khandvi. It is easy to make. Just watch carefully. Lets start. To make khandvi, we will need.. 100 gm gram flour, 100 gm curd, Some grated coconut, Washed green coriander, A little oil, red chili powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, mustard seeds, salt, and some asafoetida.

Prepare a paste for khandvi with gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, sand salt. Add double amount of water than flour and mix well to prevent lumps. You can use hand blender and whisker too.

Make a smooth paste. Pour it in pan and cook while stirring. sim the gas when it turns thick. Continuous stirring is important part otherwise it might stick to pan and have lumps. It takes only 5-7 minutes.

After it is thick enough, turn off the gas and check the thickness. Spread it on a plate like this and then remove after a while. If it removes smoothly, it is ready. Spread it on the back of a plate like this.

Use butter knife for this. No greasing it required as it removes easily from steel. Greasing makes spreading difficult. Similarly spread the paste on other plates and let them set. Make cuts using knife.
