BATATA VADA Original Recipe -मुंबई के बटाटा वडा की सीक्रेट रेसिपी Aloo Bonda - Vada Pav With Chutney
Hi everyone. How are you all doing? I am making today Batata Vada/Aloo Bonda to enjoy in this lovely weather before we begin with recipe, i got feedback from so many people that they are not getting notification of all videos.

Flour, add some salt, a pinch of turmeric powder. You can also add red chili powder, but I am not adding it a pinch of asafoetida mix. Everything then start adding water. Don't, add all water at once.
Add water in batches prepare a thick batter, you can see the consistency of the batter is thick flowing. This is perfect consistency. We will keep it aside to set later on. You can adjust the consistency if you want keep it aside.
Take 2 tsp oil. Add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, let it fry add 1 pinch of asafoetida, add 8-10 curry leaves chopped fry for a bit. Now comes the most important ingredient, ginger garlic and green chili paste.
I have kept the paste coarse fry. This is the most important element of Batata Vada. It will give that yummy flavor to the Vadas if you like extra spicy than add green chilies at this stage, add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder mix and cook for 20-30 seconds now add 5-6 boiled & amp, roughly mashed potatoes, add some salt mix well and cook For 2-3 mins and until the moisture of the potatoes is dried, there should be little chunks of potatoes to make it more authentic Mumbai, Street Style.
Vada mixture has been cooked, well, add, juice of half lemon, add fresh coriander mix and cook for another min Potato filling is ready. You can use this filling for sandwiches. Also keep it aside. Let it cool down a bit form small roundels of potato filling.
You can keep the size of the roundels as you want and place it on a plate. Roundels are ready. Let's check our batter. You can add little water if you want to adjust the consistency. Add 1-2 pinch of baking soda and 1 tbsp.
Warm oil give it a mix. Our thick batter is ready heat oil in a pan once heated turn the flame on medium now coat potato roundels with the Gram flour batter. This is the one way of coating, the roundels with your hand, or you can use a spoon or fork to do the same.
I am putting the coated roundel with the help of a spoon in oil. I am frying 3 vadas at a time. Let them fry for 3-4 mins on medium flame, don't fry on highest flame. Otherwise it will remain uncooked from inside.
Vadas are fried. Let's, remove it in a plate. They look so tempting aren't. They fry rest of the roundels same way. My complete batch is ready. You can serve Batata Vadas with some green chutney or Garlic chutney.
Let me show you a quick recipe of this garlic. Chutney soak 15-20 dried red chilies for 2 hours strain the access water store. The strained water to use it later - heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan - add 18-20 garlic, cloves fry for a minute 1-2 piece of ginger.

Let me show you the texture of chutney, keep it aside: heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, add 1/2 tsp, cumin seeds, add 1/4 tsp asafoetida turn the flame to low-medium, add prepared red chili paste mix, it add little water cook for 3-4 mins, add salt as per taste mix it.
My house is filled up with the aroma of garlic chutney. I have cooked it for 5-6 mins. You can see. The color has changed and chutney have turned thick in consistency. You can also see oil floating from the sides.
Turn the flame off. Chutney is ready. You can store it in any air tight container. It stays fresh for almost a month if stored in refrigerator, batata vada is incomplete without Fried green chilies. I have fried 2-3 green chilies in same oil and have sprinkle some salt over it.
Our aloo bonda/batata vada are ready, aren't, they look just like you get on street stalls. Let's, take a bite wow. It has turned out. So soft and moist you can enjoy them with Pav. I hope guys you liked todays recipe.
