Hello, We are preparing diwali special recipes.. Before we start the recipe we decorate our home for diwali. I have uploaded 1-2 videos on MadhurasRecipe Style on how to prepare the decorative items at home.
. As you can see, I had an old cd with me.. I have prepared candle stand from it. By doing some kundan work, You can place wax diya over it.. It looks really pretty. Along with it. I have bought a clay diya.
. You can paint this with poster or acrylic colours.. You can decorate it as you, like. Kids, just love this., My daughter likes to paint the clay. Diya vary much.. This can be a good timepass for kids during diwali vacations.
. Here I have my daughter's. Metal bangles., These don't, fit her now.. I have prepared a candle stand by stacking them on above the other.. You can place a candle inside it.. It looks awesome. If you light it up in the evening for decoration it looks pretty.
. You can place a clay, diya docorated with kundan work over it.. I have taken a clay, diya painted it with single colour and decorated it with kundan work.. If you can see here, I have a wall hanging.
. This is basically diya hanging.. I have used 3 cds, which I don't use. Or the cds are not good.. I have done some kundan work on it.. The diyas you can see are the light diyas placed on it. Do visit MadhurasRecipe Style.
. You can watch the videos there. Let's turn to recipe. Ofcourse. It is diwali special.. We have seen how to prepare patal poha chivda.. Today, let's, learn how to prepare bhajake pohe chivda. I am heating oil in a pan.
. The oil is hot enough.. Let's. First, add mustard.. Let it pop up nicely Mustard has popped up nicely., Let's. Add cumin seeds., Add green chillies.. You can use red chilli powder. If you want., You will have to add red chilli powder in the end after the tadka, when we add dry spices.
, I will fry this for a minute.. We have fried the green chili and curry leaves for about a minute.. Let's. Add garlic.. I have taken lots of garlic, Almost 1 big katori.. I have peeled and sliced the garlic.
. Let's mix everything well.. Now I am adding lots of peanuts into it. Because all in our home, all of us like to eat these peanuts., Let's fry this for about a minute. Here. The raw peanuts have begun to trun reddish in colour.
And, as you can see, garlic has also begun to turn reddish.. It has fried well., Let's. Add coconut slices to it. Dry, coconut slices.. We have to fry these too. Here. You can see dry. Coconut has also begun to turn reddish in colour.
It is getting well fried.. Now let's, add dal to it. 1 big spoon.. Let's fry this too, for a minute or so.. All the ingredients are well fried now.. I will move these a bit aside.. I am lowering down the heat.
. We will add dry spices in the oil which is collected at a side. First of all, add hing turmeric powder.. If you want to use red chilli powder, you can add it now. Instead of green chilli., Coriander powder and cumin powder.
, Let's fry this masala, a bit. In the oil.. It smells just awesome.. Now let's mix this with already fried coconut and peanuts.. Here I have 3 cups, bhajake pohe.. I have seived them well to remove the impurities.
If any. You can sundry these for 3-4 hours or you can fry them in the tadka for 4-5. Minutes. Until it gets crispy. Or Another option, is you can microwave them for 2-3 minutes.? Today I am going to fry them in the tadka.
Only for about 7-8 minutes.. Now I am adding bhajake pohe. Mix everyhting well together. After adding bhajake pohe to tadka. I have roasted the chivda for about 5-6 minutes., While preparing this chivda, some people sundry, the bhajake pohe They prepare separate tadka for each ingredient like chilli or curry, leaves and pour it over pohe.
And mix everything toghther., But more oil is used in this method. To Avoid it I prapare bhajake pohe chivda same as patal pohe chivda., You can see the coconut or garlic has been roasted, really good.
Or is well fried., Peanuts or dal has got nice colour.. Now I turn off the gas.. Let's. Add salt to taste in the end. Sugar is not added to bhajake pohe chivda.. So I am not adding powdered sugar.. Add a bit of chat masala.
, You can add rock salt too.. It tastes really good.. Let's mix everything well together.! I have mixed the chivda. Well after adding the salt., You can see it.. If you want, then, instead of dry spices like coriander powder, cumin powder Or chat masala, you can use store, bought chivda masala.
. You can completely skip dry spices.. This chivda tastes nice with only green chilli too. The thing in bhajake chivda I like the most is fried garlic and curry. Leanes. Chivda is really nice., It is crispy and crunchy.
. The taste of garlic and curry leaves is yummy in this. Chivda. Use, garlic and curry leaves more. For 3 cups, pohe use 25-30, curry leaves. And add one big katori sliced garlic.. Did you like today's recipe? Please hit the like button.
