Hello Friends Welcome to my channel & quot Recipes by Roopa & quot. Today I'll share recipe of Bhuna Chicken with all of you., As it sounds that it is dry chicken curry.. It can be served as starter or as main course.

. Now lets see how to prepare Bhuna, Chicken., Music ... Ingredients for Bhuna Chicken To prepare Bhuna Chicken. All we need Chicken 500gm. Onion, 200gm ( finely chopped ) Cooking Oil 3tbs. I am using mustard oil here.
You can use any oil of your choice. Ginger+ Garlic, paste 1tbs Cilantro -2 to 3tbs (, finely chopped ) Chopped Ginger 1/2 inch Green chili, 2 to 3 ( sliced ). I'll use some whole spices too. Cinnamon.
Stick 1/2inch Black Cardamom, 1 Green Cardamom, 3-4 Clove 6-7 Bay leaves -2 pieces Black paper, 1/2 tsp water 1/2 cup. We need some powder spices too Turmeric powder, 1/2, tsp, Red chili powder, 1tsp, Garam, Masala powder, 1tsp, Cumin powder, 1tsp, coriander powder, 1tbs.
salt, as per taste.. First, put a heavy bottom pan over the flame, add 3 tbs oil to it.. Let the oil become hot., Oil is hot. Enough now add Bay leaves, to it add all whole spices. Add Black paper too.
cook for 15 to 20 seconds. Whole spices are well cooked. Now add Onion cook till it gets Golden Brown in color.. Onions are well cooked, now add Ginger/Garlic paste cook it for 1 minute, along with onion paste, got well cooked, now add chicken to it, mix it well.
Chicken got mixed well with fried onions. Now turn the flame to medium now add salt to chicken. I am adding salt right now. It will help to cook chicken quickly. Add salt as per taste, Now mix well. salt got mixed to chicken now put the led on and let the chicken cook for 3.
4 minutes., so that chicken will release its juice.. It has been 4 minutes, put the led off and check, as you can see, chicken released a good quantity of juice, here. now cook the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame.
In this juice. I cooked this chicken for 4 minutes without led now, as you can see, juice is getting dry here. Chicken is getting soft too, but it is not completely cooked. Yet now add powder Masala to the chicken add Turmeric powder, Red chili powder, Coriander powder, cumin powder mix, all the spices well with chicken.
I didn't use Garam Masala. Yet I'll use that later mix everything well Masala got mixed. Well now add 2 3 tbs water. It will help Masala to get cooked well now, cook it for 5 minutes on medium flame. Do not forget to stir it.
Masala got cooked well with chicken. I cooked it for 5 minutes on medium flame. Now add 1/2 cup water to it do not use too much water after adding water stir it well, everything got mixed well, as you can see, chicken is boiling here on this stage, cover it and let it cook for 2 3 minutes its been 3 minutes.
Lets check the chicken chicken is boiling and it got good color too. now stir it once chicken is well cooked and soft now cook it till all. The gravy will get dry keep on mixing while cooking Chicken is looking dry.
Now I cooked it for 2 minutes on this stage, add Garam Masala to chicken curry, add chopped Garlic and green chili mix it well. Garam Masala got mixed well to chicken. Curry now cover it and let it cook for 1 minute on low flame, its been 1 minute put the led off and check chicken.
Curry is looking delicious and I can feel the aroma of Garam Masala chicken curry is ready, now switch off the flame and add chopped cilantro to the ready chicken curry after adding cilantro mix it well, Bhuna, Chicken or Chicken curry is ready to serve serve it.
